National Housing Bank, India hosts the Secretariat for the Asia Pacific Union For Housing Finance. It is the apex institution for housing finance in India. NHB was established through an Act of the Parliament of India and is mandated with promotion and development of the housing finance sector in India. NHB is a supervisory body for the Housing Finance companies and undertakes promotional activities for the interest of housing and housing finance sector in India. NHB will be responsible for updating the content of this website in consultation with the member countries in the advisory board.
